Renascent was engaged by SMCC to undertake a full refurbishment of the school, delivering a refreshed, modern learning environment. Working within a strict program and budget, the project required careful planning to ensure minimal disruption to students and staff.

Challenges and Solutions:

1) Live School Environment:Construction was carried out in an active high school setting. To avoid disruptions, works were scheduled after hours, around exam periods, school events, and holidays.

2) Multi-Stage Coordination:The team managed three concurrent work stages across different parts of the school, showcasing strong logistical planning and coordination.

3) Strict Deadlines: Each stage had to be completed on time, ensuring classrooms and facilities were ready for use at the start of each school term.

We successfully delivered the refurbishment within budget and program constraints, meeting all deadlines to ensure a seamless transition for students and staff. The team's commitment to quality and efficiency led to the awarding of two additional project stages. Clear and consistent daily communication with the school's advisor was key to ensuring smooth execution, with no disruption to school operations.
