To train first class hospitality professionals, the William Angliss Institute needed first class facilities. To achieve this their Alexandria campus saw the refurbishment and fitout of its ground floor and level one tenancies, creating a state-of-the-art training space, as well as a public facing café.
The ground floor café, was brought to life as a vibrant space with a fresh and open feel. This design intent didn’t sacrifice the need for functionality, space or comfort, with these also staying central to the plans.
The office and training spaces on level one contained numerous meeting rooms, learning spaces, training rooms, administration offices and large, open-planned workspace zones.
Further to this, the project incorporated three large commercial training kitchens, training bar both with specialised floor finishes and a training restaurant. All of these spaces required upgrades and additions to base building services to suit the increased service demand. All areas were finalised with the application of soft and hard furnishings and finishes.
