Nine Network NBN Studio & Comms Room Fitout - Newcastle NSW

Renascent worked with Nine Network to deliver a single floor fitout of their NBN studio in Newcastle NSW.

This specialised project required meticulous attention to the acoustics programming and delivery, with the project incorporating the studio, communications room and talent operated studio (TOS).

This meant the team needed to work closely with the architect and services engineers to ensure the acoustics were fit for purpose. The separable portion dates of the communication rooms and fitout were also a key focus throughout. It was critical for the communications room to be completed earlier to enable the client to commence data works needed prior to going live in the studio and TOS areas.  

Through a detailed methodology, Renascent ensured the project stayed on track, despite delays to external landlord works caused by inclement weather. Works were re-sequenced internally, ensuring costs and programme were not adversely impacted.
