Our Melbourne team fitted out Levels 22 and 23 of Melbourne Quarter Tower for our client Beca. The office is a truly modern workspace with numerous collaboration opportunities including a Town Hall, collaboration zones, formal and informal meeting spaces, and Activity-Based Working facilities. We opened up the slab and connected the two levels with a custom-built curved metal staircase.
How we added Value:
- Stakeholder Management: Managing relationships with Lendlease and base building contractors, in order to deliver our works on-time without impeding others on a busy site. Securing all necessary approvals permits to meet our timeframe whilst working in parallel with the base building on a separate approvals program
- Logistics: Working within a building still in construction presented challenges such as restricted access to the loading dock and goods lift. We addressed these by continually re-planning and adjusting schedules to navigate these constraints effectively.
- Early access for IT: We facilitated the relocation of Beca’s IT infrastructure and office equipment during the final construction phase, ensuring that their move-in was not delayed.
Outcome:
The project was completed on time and within budget, fully meeting the client's operational requirements and expectations.
