Within Rod Laver Arena, the client aimed to deliver state-of-the-art ice bath facilities, including Universal Access ice baths, to support athletes participating in the Australian Open in January 2024.

The project involved the demolition of four existing ice baths and the conversion of existing shower areas into three distinct new ice bath zones: male and female areas (each with two new ice baths) and a Universal Access ice bath. The scope included full refurbishment and fit-out of the ice bath areas, adjacent showers, and a treatment room, encompassing flooring, wall finishes, joinery, and services to ensure full operational readiness for the Australian Open.
