August 16, 2024

At Renascent, our commitment to supporting the community is at the heart of everything we do. We are real people who value authentic connections and are passionate about making a difference where it matters most. For 17 years, we have proudly partnered with the MonSTaR Foundation as our charity of choice.

Just last week, we took our community-focused efforts to new heights by hosting the Renascent + MonSTaR BIG Lunch, where we raised an incredible $130,500 for the MonSTaR Foundation!

This year's event was hosted at Grappa Restaurant in Leichhardt, where 135 guests enjoyed an afternoon filled with delicious food, great company, and plenty of laughter, courtesy of Ventriloquist and Comedian Darren Carr.

About MonSTaR

MonSTaR is a charity established in 2007, supporting Australians with motor neuron disease and children with disabilities. Funds raised by MonSTaR are divided equally between motor neuron disease research and support, and Special Training and Research. With recent statistics estimating there are over 2,000 people in Australia currently diagnosed with MND and every day two Australians are diagnosed with MND, it’s easy to understand why this is an important cause.

Renascent’s longstanding commitment to MonSTaR is motivated by the desire to support a charity that resonates with the entire Renascent family. As Managing Director Tony Hargreaves explains donations are made to MonSTaR on Renascent’s behalf because “they go straight to the people who need it most. MonSTaR makes such a difference for two conditions close to our hearts: motor neurone disease and special needs”.
