HSEQ Advisor

As a HSEQ Advisor, you’ll be an essential part of the team, managing and maintaining all things HSEQ related to ensure effective delivery of programs, compliance with company safety standards and honoring our commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of safety procedures, work instructions, documentation, and training materials.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance and compliance.
  • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of company safety policies and programs.
  • Travel to job sites weekly to ensure safety compliance is maintained at high standards.
  • Support internal and external HSEQ audits.
  • Assist with requirements for tender pre-qualifications.
  • Assist in the upkeep of ISO and OFSC certification.
  • Maintain 3rd party building/contractor management portal requirements like Avetta, Rapid Portal and CM3 etc.
  • Maintain the calendar, agenda and record minutes for the WHS committee.
  • Onboard all new starters and coordinate annual HSEQ training requirements.

Experience and Education:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role (construction related is a bonus)
  • Tertiary qualifications in HSEQ or a related.
  • HSEQ management processes and systems including Procure and Sign on Site (preferable)

Skills:

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Procore, or Excel).
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
